Fun Water Bottle Crafts

Earth Day is this week!  Let’s teach our kids about how to turn what looks like trash, into something valuable again.  Now, I usually don’t have plastic water bottles in my home because of their environmental impact.  However, if we ever receive them from restaurants or after a long trip, I keep them and use them in any crafty way I can.  Take a look at 3 fun water bottle crafts my daughter and I have done: Bottle Bangles What you’ll need: an empty water bottle an exacto knife or scissors yarn, ribbon or loose fabric tape any decorations 🙂 My daughter absolutely loved the bangles we created.  In fact she wore them all day!Continue reading

NumberBot Craft

If you follow me on instagram, you know I love taking everyday waste items and turning them into something purposeful.  That’s how this craft came about.  I saw I had an empty pasta box and a bare paper towel roll.  The shape of the box immediately made me think of some kind of robot, and numberbot was born!  His food of choice?
